By simply attaching a drive recorder to a forklift, the “Safe Cargo Handling AI Fork Buddy” detects from the recorded video the basic movements of the forklift to dangerous operations, evaluates them quantitatively, and creates highlight videos of dangerous operations. I can do it.

“Safe Cargo Handling AI Fork Buddy” is an AI jointly developed by Fujitsu Cloud Technologies and Suntory Logistics. After the press release of the joint project, we received many requests for a service, and it was born after interviewing many companies in the logistics industry.
As a result of our interviews, we learned that many companies in the logistics industry cannot afford to invest in the safety of forklift operations due to their busy schedules.
There are four main issues surrounding forklift operations:

It is not easy for each company to formulate its own safety standards, and there are many problems such as how to decide the evaluation items, what to do with the standards of each judge, and who will do the evaluation in the first place.

Since we are not specialized in a specific industry, we didn’t know much about the logistics industry. Therefore, we interviewed more than 20 customers about their industry issues and showed them their worksites. In the summer, I completed a forklift driving skill course.
