DeNA is jointly developing with Kansai Electric Power an AI solution that optimizes the fuel operation of liquefied natural gas .

It is very difficult to formulate an efficient fuel operation plan, and quality standards cannot be met unless the plan is well organized. In that case, additional resources may be required, and many years of experience and knowledge are required to achieve both safety and stability and cost reduction.

Until now, two experienced engineers worked on schedule design, but after understanding the details of the work, we succeeded in realizing automatic creation of fuel operation plans using AI that achieves both safety and stability and cost reduction. did.

Create “fontgraphy” to generate logos from voice

“fontgraphy” is a service that generates a personalized logo from each person’s voice. It was released to express the theme of DeNA’s 20th anniversary that anyone can be the leading role.

After that, we received a request from Dai Nippon Printing Co., Ltd. (hereafter, DNP) and provided customized fonts for DNP as “fontgraphy for DNP.”

With fontgraphy, just by speaking to your smartphone, AI analyzes your voice quality, and based on the results of that analysis, selects the font and image for the letters “DNP”. By multiplying the two, an original logo tailored to each speaker is generated.

In developing fontgraphy, we collected voice data from approximately 800 DeNA employees and modeled them by classifying eight impression tags, such as “sweet, cool, and lively,” into four-level scores.

Providing “speech synthesis technology” for virtual security systems

The “virtual security system” is equipped with the world’s first AI, realized by combining the security know-how that SECOM has cultivated so far as Japan’s first security company with the latest technologies of AGC, DeNA, and NTT DOCOMO. This is a security system in which virtual characters “virtual guards” provide stationed security services.

The system will be in charge of security surveillance and reception, among the duties previously performed by stationed security guards. This reduces security costs at manned facilities, enables efficient staffing, and reduces operating costs.

DeNA provided the original character design for the “virtual security guard” and voice synthesis technology for responding to visitors. Speech synthesis technology, which synthesizes speech from text, is used in car navigation systems, broadcasting in train stations, etc.

The virtual security guard uses a recurrent neural network that considers series data in the speech synthesis model, making it a natural voice that looks like an actual human being. It’s also highly scalable, allowing you to voice any text.

Development of game play support AI tool for “Gyakuten Othellonia”

“Gyakuten Othellonia” is a fighting game app that allows you to easily play with the rules of Othello provided by DeNA.
